Cush Jumbo

Cush Jumbo ( born 1985 in London) is a British actress.

Jumbo grew up in the London Borough of Lambeth and took dance lessons at an early stage. She attended the London School for Performing Arts and Technology and the Central School of Speech and Drama. After graduating, she first played theaters and entered among other things, at Shakespeare 's Globe. In 2010 she played Eliza Doolittle in George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. In 2009, she played the role of Lois Habiba in the broadcast in Germany third season of Torchwood.
