Cybill Shepherd

Cybill Lynne Shepherd ( born February 18, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, USA) is an American actress and singer.

Life and career

At 16 she won the Miss Teenage Memphis contest and began a career as a model. In 1971, she dedicated the film director Peter Bogdanovich for the female lead in his patrol The Last Picture Show ( The Last Picture Show ). In 1972 Elaine May comedy The Heartbreak Kid. The success of both films with critics and audiences seemed to Shepherd on the beginning of an equally successful film career to suggest, especially since they had been dating for the filming of Last Picture Show by Peter Bogdanovich and starred in two of his other films, the main role.
