Cyborg Attack
Cyborg Attack is a band from Chemnitz and Leipzig. Their style of music is attributed to the electric.
History
The band was founded in 1995 by Tino Weidauer alias Euscha (keyboard) and wild Raik (vocals ). Inspired by bands like Front 242 and electric, Cat Rapes Dog and Tyske LUDDER, slowly, the charismatic, dark and hard sound of the flagship of CYBORG ATTACK was developed. Lyrically, the band deals mainly with themes of war, surreal apocalyptic forebodings, as well as with socio-critical aspects.
After a successful start in the scene and a number of smaller tours and gigs as the opening act of Terminal Choice, Cat Rapes Dog, Funker Vogt and other bands debut MCD Toxic came 1997 on the market. Since it was a self-production, some ideas were not to be realized. Through good sales figures, made his first contacts with several record labels, so that was begun work on the first album after the reunion in 1999.
In November 1997, the co-founder and former frontman Raik Wild left the band to start a career in music rather Pop stressed area. Nearly two years passed before the remaining band members with new frontman Sandro Franz aka Punisher could find a successor and the band was complete again. With new songs and some compilations they made the Chemnitz label Black Rain attention and after a successful performance in front of 3000 audience at the 9th Wave -Gotik-Treffen in 2000 a contract with the sub-label NoiTekk was signed. In 2001 the first album blood money and Eno Enrico Laukner was integrated as a fourth member fixed to the band. Because of some problems, it was decided in 2003 directly to the main label Black Rain to switch on then also the album Stoerf *** tor in 2006 appeared.
