The Tanganyika bump head ( Cyphotilapia frontosa ) is a large cichlid, of the Central African Lake Tanganyika endemic lives on rocky ground. The up to 35 -centimeter-long animals prefer depths of 20 to 50 meters. The bump should be more pronounced in the male. However, this statement is more controversial in relevant forums. The females have shorter pelvic fins. In the aquarium, one male with several females should be kept, as the males fight with each other.
