Czerwonka, Olsztyn County

Czerwonka ( German until 1932 Czerwonken addition, from 1882 also Roth flow ) is a powiat scoring for Olsztyński, community Biskupiec village in the Polish Warmian -Masurian something with about 1000 inhabitants.

Geography

The village is located six kilometers northwest of the city Biskupiec along Route 57 It lies on the banks of Dadajsees.

History

Czerwonken was first documented in 1548, when Paul got Bronkowi assign copyright by Prince Albrecht of Prussia.

Population Development

Attractions

In Czerwonka still stands intact a monument to the fallen in the First World War in the form of a small chapel of red brick.

Traffic

On January 1, 1872 station was set up in Czerwonken with the construction of the railway Thorn- Insterburg. In the near Bishop's Castle reversed a private horse-drawn omnibus line.
