D.a.S. Theater

The D.a.S. Theater is an independent theater, established in Cologne. The emphasis is on youth theater pieces that are listed throughout Germany.

History

Was founded the theater in 1990 by Klaus -Volker Roth. So far, there were about 1,600 performances before about 300,000 spectators and foreign tours with the Goethe -Institut to Kazakhstan, Belgium and Turkey. In 1994, the theater has been honored with the national competition of the German Association of Cities for "Exemplary integration work." 2001, the production of " Crash" was the staging of "Wild Panther biscuit" invited to the Children's and Youth Theatre Meeting NRW 2005. Member is the theater in the ASSITEJ, the Cologne Theatre Conference and Jupiter. It is funded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the city of Cologne, sponsors and especially through appearance fees.
