Dad, Hungary

Dad is a Hungarian community in the northeast of Vértes. The municipality is situated 18 kilometers west of Tatabánya and 80 kilometers from Budapest. The village was mentioned in 1230 during the reign of King Andrew II first written as Dod in the list of places of the county Fejér.
