Dagens Næringsliv (DN) is a statewide, Norwegian daily newspaper. It is the leading financial and business newspaper in Norway with an average daily circulation of 80 559 copies in 2010 ( 642,000 readers per week in 2004). Since 2000, Amund Djuve is editor in chief.

About the newspaper

The newspaper was founded in 1889 as Norges Sjøfartstidende by Captain Magnus Andersen, a newspaper for the shipping. From 1912 to 1987 she worked as Norges Handels og Sjøfartstidende (informally: Sjøfarten, shipping ) are known. Dagens Næringsliv issued today by the media conglomerate Norges Handels og Sjøfartstidende. At times, the newspaper is still named as Sjøfarten.
