Among the castles include the Dahn Castle Group, the Berwartstein and the Drachenfels the best known.

Traffic

The Dahn is accessible via the motorways 8 ( from the west ) and 65 ( from the east ), in each case using the federal highway 10, which connects the two freeways. Partial parallel to the B 427 connects as a branch of the Queichtalbahn ( Pirmasens -Landau ) the Wieslauter train the villages Hinterweidenthal in the north and in the south of Bundenthal Dahn country. The line was reactivated in 1997 for excursion traffic on Sundays and holidays, after the regular passenger train operation had been discontinued in 1966. This runs the already incipient in Mannheim Bundenthaler.
