Daisy Geyser

The Daisy Geyser is a geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States. He is part of the spa complex, Daisy Group.

An average eruption of Daisy Geyser takes 3 to 4 minutes. In this case, the eruption reach a height of up to 23 m. The outbreaks occur every 120 to 200 minutes. The uniformity of the eruption interval is dependent on the activity of the Splendid Geyser. Is this inactive, the eruptions of Daisy Geyser are very predictable, otherwise the eruptions of the two geysers influence each other.

In the wake of the Denali earthquake on 2 November 2002, the time interval between two bursts was abruptly significantly. It is believed that either the earthquake in Alaska directly or local smaller aftershocks this had an impact. Over time, the interval was like back in the long- term trend.
