Dalaba

Dalaba is the capital of the prefecture in the Mamou Region Dalaba in Guinea (West Africa ), about 360 km from Conakry situated away. It is the highest town in Guinea.

At the time of French colonization to colonial officials recovered in a sanatorium, because the climate is very mild in Dalaba. Miriam Makeba entertained here one of their residences during their exile in Guinea.

Of national importance are the strawberry cultivation and indigo dyeing.
