Dale (crater)

Dale is an impact crater on the eastern limb of the Moon front page. The area is due to this situation from Earth if at all, only highly distorted visible. The crater is located south of Mare Smythii, southeast of the crater Kästner and northeast of Ansgarius. He is heavily eroded.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the British biochemist and Nobel laureate Henry Hallett Dale.
