Dale Stetina

Dale Stetina ( born July 9, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio ) is a former American professional cyclist.

Twice won Dale Stetina a U.S. championship in 1978 and 1980 in the road race in the amateurs.

1979 and 1983 won the Coors Classic Stetina, 1983 and 1984, the Cascade Classic. In 1980 he won the Vuelta Ciclista a Rating Costa Rica with 30 minutes ahead of the second and 1981 in the Vuelta de República Dominicana. In 1980, he decided the Wohltätigkeitsrennen Mount Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb, which goes steeply uphill for more than twelve kilometers in the record time of 58 minutes and 41 seconds for itself, which was undercut in 1997 by Tyler Hamilton.

Dale Stetina is the brother of cyclist Wayne Stetina and father of Peter Stetina.

2007 Dale Stetina was inducted into the United States Bicycling Hall of Fame.
