The United States Bicycling Hall of Fame was established in 1987.

The U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame ( USBHOF ) is a foundation. New members are added every year who were either successful cyclists lobbied their lives for cycling or have donated exhibits. The members are divided into seven different categories: road and rail cyclist before 1945, road and track cyclist from 1945 to 1975, road and track racing cyclist since 1975, Mountain Biking, BMX, special ceremony and promoter of cycling.

Originally, the Hall of Fame was located in Bridgewater, New Jersey, the place where the oldest bicycle race in the United States, the Tour of Somerville is discharged. In 2009 she moved to the " bicycle city " Davis, California. In the whole site as well as at the university cycling and cycling have a particularly high priority. In the Hall also historical bicycle exhibits and exhibits will be shown to individual members.
