Dalsjöfors

Dalsjöfors is a Tätort in the municipality of Borås with just over 3000 inhabitants.

Background

Dalsjöfors is located about 13 kilometers east of the city of Borås on the railway line between Borås and Ulricehamn. The town developed in particular in the framework of which was founded by Henning Wenander, Martin Wenander and Herman Jansson 1897 textile factory. These merged in 1920 with the Almedahls fabriks AB and was still up in the 1960s, the main employer in the town.
