Damian Gorawski

Damian Gorawski ( born January 4, 1979 in Ruda Śląska, Poland ) is a former Polish football player.

Club career

The midfielder (right - offensive) began his career in 1999 at Ruch Chorzów and played until 2004 with Wisła Kraków before moving to FK Moscow. From 2008 to early 2009 he played in the Russian first division Schinnik Yaroslavl. Since the second half 2008/2009 he stood by Gornik Zabrze in Poland under contract. However, start of the season 2010/2011 he found no place in the first team and had to settle for a place in the squad of the second team content. Then he finished his career in 2011.

National

Gorawski played between 2003 and 2005 a total of 14 caps (1 goal ) for Poland and also belonged to the squad for the World Cup 2006. But the usual medical check FIFA showed him to heart problems, which do not guarantee a risk-free tournament participation. Then Bartosz Bosacki was re-nominated for it.
