Damien Monier

Damien Monier ( born August 27, 1982 in Clermont- Ferrand ) is a French track and road bicycle racer.

Damien Monier in 2002 third in the Chrono des Herbiers in the U23. The following year he won the French under-23 champion in the individual pursuit and he also won the Chrono des Herbiers this time for yourself. In 2003, he also drove in Cofidis internships and got there from the following season a professional contract. 2005 Monier French champion in the individual pursuit of the elite.

He celebrated his biggest success so far won a stage of the Giro d' Italia 2010.

In January 2012 Monier has been approached in a pub by a car and suffered severe head injuries.
