Damir Bičanić

Damir Bičanić ( born June 29, 1985 in Vukovar, SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian handball player. He is 1.95 m tall, his body weight is approximately 95 kg.

Playing career

His first international game use was recorded Damir Bičanić with the Croatian handball club RK Osijek electric module in the EHF Cup Match 2004/05 season. There was a change of club 2005/ 06 for RK Zagreb. With this team Bičanić took first at the EHF Challenge Cup 2005/ 06 in part to then compete in the EHF Cup Winners' Cup in the 2006/07 season again aground internationally with RK Zagreb. It also followed stakes in the EHF CL- season 2007 /08. Damir Bičanić moved to the Handball Season 2008/ 09 to the Spanish handball club of Ademar León and was used in the Spanish handball team in the EHF CL 2008/ 09. In the summer of 2010, he joined the French first division Chambery Savoie HB. Bičanić playing on the position of left - back space player and wears jersey number 77, the 71- times capped player (136 goals) is in the squad for the Croatian men's national handball team. In summer 2012 Bičanić took part in the Olympic Games in London, where he won the bronze medal.
