Dan Jørgensen

Dan Jørgensen ( born June 12, 1975 in Odense ) is a Danish politician ( Social Democrats ) and since December 12, 2013 Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries in the governments Thorning- Schmidt I and Thorning- Schmidt II

Previously, he was a member since 2004 of the European Parliament, 2009, he came into office as the leading candidate of his party. His political priorities are, inter alia, the climate challenge and animal welfare.

He attained a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Aarhus, where he continued working as a guest lecturer.
