Dan Voiculescu

Dan Voiculescu ( born September 25, 1946 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian politician and businessman. He is currently (2011 ) Honorary Chairman of the Conservative Party ( Partidul Conservator ) and Vice- President of the Romanian Senate.

Biography

Dan Voiculescu grew up in modest circumstances in Bucharest. After his military service, he became in 1970 an employee of the cement company ICE Vitrocim and their foreign trade director.
