Life
Play-acting
At the age of seven years, Dana Dawson began her acting career. She starred in the 1981 Broadway musical Annie. In 2000 she came back to the musical and had again in 2001 premiered on Broadway.
Music career
At fourteen, Dana Dawson won a competition for copywriters. She was discovered by a French producer in New York. In 1991, in France, their debut album, Paris, New York and Me ( ' Columbia ' ), of which three extractions made it into the French singles chart.
1995 published the albums Got to Give Me Love and Black Butterfly ( EMI Music). The latter sold in thanks to its catchy soul - pop more than two million copies.
