Daniel Henriksson
Daniel Henriksson ( born September 4, 1978 in Övertorneå ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey goaltender and current coach.

Career
Daniel Henriksson began his career as a hockey player at Luleå HF, for the first team, he made his professional debut in the 1996/97 season. He participated with his team at the football operation of the Elitserien, as well as at the European Hockey League. In his rookie year, the goalkeeper with his team reached the finals at the Swedish Championship, where he lost to Färjestad BK. In the time at Luleå also he gained playing experience in the second division bottom IK and Piteå HC - first in Division 1, and then in the newly founded HockeyAllsvenskan.
In summer 2004, Henriksson joined Färjestads BK, with whom he again was runner-up in the 2004/05 season before he with his new club in his career won the Swedish Championship for the first time in the following season. In the 2007 /08 season, the national team was in Europe at HK Sibir Novosibirsk in the Russian Super League and the EC Red Bull Salzburg of the Austrian Hockey League contract. With Salzburg he was at the end of the season Austrian Champion. He was then obliged by Linköpings HC from his native Sweden, with whom he took part in the newly formed Champions Hockey League in which he was leaving in the group stage of his team in all four losses between the posts. Following the 2008/ 09 season, he finished his career at the LHC.
Since 2010, Henriksson has worked as a goalkeeping coach at his hometown club Luleå HF.
Internationally
For Henriksson Sweden took part in the World Championships 2004, 2006 and 2007.
