Daniel of Padua

Daniel of Padua († 168 in Padua ) was a Christian martyr and saint.

According to his hagiography to Daniel Jewish origin and a deacon of the first bishop of Padua, Prosdochimus, have been. However, it is reported by Prosdochimus that he had been sent by Apostle Peter himself to Padua and died there around 100, while the martyrdom of Daniel is placed in the year 168, which is significantly later.
