Daniel Velasques

Roger Velasquez ( Daniel Roger Velasquez, born December 11, 1943 in Markirch ) is a retired French sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

In the 1972 Olympics he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of individual petition. In the 4 x 400 - meter relay team, he won the French team in 3:00,65 min the bronze medal behind the relay races from Kenya and the United Kingdom.

In 1974 he won the silver medal in the 4-by- 2 -lap relay at the Indoor Athletics Championships in Gothenburg behind the Swedish squadron.
