Daniela Nardini

Daniela Nardini ( born April 26, 1968 Largs, Scotland) is a British actress of Italian descent.

Career

She was known by several different roles in the BBC series. In the UK it reached her acting breakthrough for her role as Anna Forbes in the BBC Two television series This Life. She was awarded Best Actress for this role with the BAFTA Award in 1998 and the Scottish BAFTA. She won a second Scottish BAFTA in 2009 for her role in Annie Griffin's New Town. With us, it was known by the excellent BAFTA series The Fades into the role of the Angelic Helen.

Nardini completed her acting training from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow. Her parents guide The Nardini, a well-known ice cream parlor in Largs. The ice cream parlor is mentioned lexicographically in the popular BBC show Balderdash & Piffle. Daniela talked about her family in connection with the mysterious history of the 99 Flake ice. Since then, the ice cream shop is closed.

Life

When she was 16, her older brother died in a car accident, which caused her termination as an acting teacher nearing completion. Then she got her role as Anna Forbes and thus created their breakthrough. Currently Nardini lives with her husband Ivan Stein and her daughter in Glasgow.
