Danilo Turcios

Danilo Elvis Turcios Funes ( born May 8, 1978 in Sonaguera ) is a Honduran football player who is used to the position of midfielder. He has been employed since July 2004 when the Honduran first division club Olimpia Tegucigalpa under contract and is currently plaing for national team of his country.

The defensive midfielder is right-footed and has been in 84 games for the national team of his native country seven goals (as of: January 20, 2011). After the FIFA World Cup 2010 qualifying Honduras in South Africa, was Danilo Elvis Turcios, the auflief for the first time for the national team of his native country in 1999, nominated extensive squad for the World Cup finals by coach Reinaldo Rueda in the 23 man. He celebrated his World Cup debut in the group match against the eventual champions Spain. Danilo Turcios played 63 minutes. Honduras lost the game 0-2.
