Danish Confederation of Trade Unions

The Landsorganisationen i Danmark, LO short, the Federation of Trade Unions in Denmark. This organization was founded on January 3, 1898 and is with 1.02 million members ( 2008), the largest trade union confederation in Denmark. In it, 17 larger and smaller individual unions are affiliated.

The LO is from the common collective agreements. It is the labor market association of workers to the government and the political parties. About 85% of working people in Denmark are unionized.
