Danny MacAskill

Danny MacAskill ( born December 23, 1985 at Skye ) is a Scottish Bike Trial professional. He has published on April 19, 2009, a five and a half minute video titled Inspired Bicycles Internet video portal YouTube, that was obtained within the first 40 hours 350,000 times. In March 2013, the number of audience was 32,082,611. The cyclist Lance Armstrong commented on the video as " an absolute must watch" ( German as: " the one has to be missed ").

The game played in the video song The Funeral is from the American rock band Band of Horses.

Early 2009 were MacAskill his employment as a mechanic at a bike shop in Edinburgh, to devote himself with his stunt group The Clan fully the bike trial.

In June 2009, MacAskill had an appearance in the music video for the single Winter Hill by Doves.

The bike from the YouTube video was auctioned in November on the eBay auction site. The proceeds of 3,100 pounds (about 3,400 euros ) to the BBC project Children in Need benefit.
