Danny O'Donoghue

Daniel " Danny" O'Donoghue ( born October 3, 1980 in Dublin, actually Daniel John Mark Luke O'Donoghue ) is an Irish singer and songwriter of the band The Script. His parents are of Irish descent, but his grandfather has Greek roots. His family has lived in Ireland for three generations. He has been the first season in 2012, jury member and coach in the British singing talent show The Voice UK, which will be broadcast on BBC One.

Career

Mytown

Danny was in the late 90s, a member of the band MyTown. The band signed in 1999 a contract with Universal Records for $ 15 million dollars. He also worked as a producer in the United States with its current band mates Mark Sheehan.

The Script

Together with the coming Dublin drummer Glen Power and Mark 2001 Danny founded the band The Script.
