Danske Bank (Sweden)

Östgöta Enskilda Bank is a Swedish bank, was established in Linköping in 1837 as East- Götha bank.

One of the first supporters was the Bishop of Linköping and Karlstad, Johan Jacob Hedrén, who later became a bank director. Due to the boom in agriculture Östergötland, the Bank had a strong position among the farmers Östergötalands. In addition to branches in the Östergötland County Bank today also branches in Greater Stockholm.

Since 1997 OeEB belongs to the largest Danish bank Danske Bank and is operated as a provincial bank.
