Dansker

A Dansker (also Danzker ) is a toilet of a castle, which is housed in a tower above a flowing waters. The tower - usually an abort tower - is connected by a bridge, on which a closed or covered walkway is with the castle. The Dansker is found mainly in Teutonic castles and is an architectural feature of the 13th and 14th centuries.

The origin of the word that was first used in 1393, probably goes back to the city of Gdansk.

Famous example is the Dansker the Order Castle in Malbork Werder, who, however, was reconstructed in the 19th century and no longer corresponds to the medieval state.
