Dario Antiseri
Dario Antiseri ( born January 9, 1940 in Foligno ) is an Italian philosopher and emeritus professor.
Life
Antiseri his doctorate in 1963 in philosophy from the University of Perugia and then continued on issues of mathematical logic, epistemology and philosophy of language his studies at various universities in Europe.
In 1968 he began his own teaching at the Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Siena. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Research Center Tocqueville - Acton.
From 1975 to 1986 Antiseri was a professor of philosophy of language at the University of Padua. Between 1986 and 2009 he took over the presidency of the " Methodology of Social Sciences " at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi sociali in Rome and then the Office of the Dean of Political Science of the same university between 1994 and 1998.
In February 2002 he received along with John Royal honorary doctorate at Moscow University.
