Darkseed (band)

Darkseed is a German gothic metal band that was founded in 1992 by Stefan Hertrich and Harald Winkler.

History

Their breakthrough, the band appeared in 2000 with the " Diving Into Darkness ". The music of the six members is a mix of hard metal riffs with the melancholy sound of a gloomy Goth songs without extensive clichés dar. Darkseed headed for the end- RPG The Fall: Last Days of Gaia OST in which on the published 2005 album " Ultimate Darkness "can be found. The lyrics are sung in both English and in German.

Mid- August 2006 left Stefan Hertrich and Martin Motnik the band. After Stefan Hertrichs outlet, who wrote almost all the songs themselves, the band before their final seemed to be off. But an appearance on the Helion Festival on October 4th in Munich was announced on the official website on June 24, 2008. As a new singer, the former drummer Harald Winkler is to occur.

On 2 January 2012, the band has presented on the official website their new frontman and vocalist Mike polluters.
