Darlene Zschech

Darlene Zschech Joyce ( born September 8, 1965 in Sydney as Darlene Joyce Steinhardt ) is " worship leader " in the Hillsong Church.

Life and work

Darlene Zschech was discovered as a child star on the TV series Happy go around and sang in commercials such as McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Diet Coke.

The song " Shout to the Lord " ( Shout to the Lord) brought Darlene Zschech international breakthrough in the Christian area. In 2000 she received the Dove Award for " Composer of the Year ". In 2007, Phil Dooley of Darlene Zschech the management of the departments " Worship" and " Creative Arts " and 2008 Reuben Morgan their task as worship pastor at Hillsong. Darlene Zschech still has the musical direction in all community events. She has written four books: Worship (1996 ), Extravagant Worship (2002), The Kiss of Heaven (2003) and The Great Generational Transition ( 2009).

Particular caused a stir For All You've Done, which reached the top spot as the first Christian CD in the Australian charts.

Darlene and her husband Mark Zschech have three children. On December 11, 2013 were diagnosed with breast cancer Darlene.
