Darsi Ferrer RamÃrez
Darsi Ferrer Ramírez ( born November 2, 1969 in Pinar del Río ) is a Cuban doctor, independent journalist and dissident. He is director of the independent Center for Health and Human Rights " Juan Bruno Zayas ".
Darsi Ferrer, among others, reported regularly on the states in the Cuban health care and about the plight of political prisoners. In July 2009, he was even arrested.
