Dartitis

Under Dartitis refers to the mental state that gives rise to problems when throwing darts players of the arrow.

The term goes to Tony Woods, the editorial director of the World Darts Magazine, back, who coined the term first used in January 1981. 2007 Dartitis was added to the Oxford English Dictionary, where it is described as "A state of nervousness Which Prevents a player from releasing a dart at the right moment When throwing ". The phenomenon is similar to the yips in golf.

The appearance especially by the five-time British Darts Organization world champion Eric Bristow became known. In the Swedish Open 1987 joined him for the first time the problems that he could let go of the arrow while shedding bad.
