The book is the twelfth album of Puhdys.

The album

The album was produced in 1984 and immediately got into the trade. It appeared as LP (8 56 039 ) and as a music cassette (056 039) on Amiga. The retail price of the LP was, as usual, Mark 16.10.

The Puhdys numbered their albums. So emblazoned on this album logically the 12 on the cover.

The book is a thoughtful album. There is a lot about peace in the Great ( I do not remember the book ) and Small ( Peasant Wedding, sleep with me). Many songs are characterized more by melodies that only a few can be counted for danceable music.

The title song is placed as the last track on side 1. It's about the fear of nuclear war and its effects on the population of the earth. Influenced by the current zeitgeist ( intensification of the Cold War, a boycott of the Moscow Olympics by many Western states, further increase of the arms race between the USSR and the USA) succeed with this title an impressive warning against the escalation. Hymnal the song sounds with the support of the FDJ choir an East Berlin from school.

Much attention was also at that time very progressive Cover with a mixture of different designs.
