Dave Pelzer

Dave Pelzer ( born December 29, 1960 in Daly City, San Francisco County, California) is an American author and campaigner for children's rights.

Life

Pelzer has made the fight against child abuse under the motto " helping people help themselves " life's work. Since the end of his service in the U.S. Air Force, he supports the work of various children's charities. In his books, he describes his own experiences of abuse. The degree of fictionality these descriptions is controversial.

Dave Pelzer is married, has a son and lives in Southern California.
