David Cage

David De Gruttola ( born June 9, 1969 in Mulhouse), better known by his pseudonym David Cage, is a French musician and video game designer. He is the director of the video game developer Quantic Dream Studios.

Work

Cage combines the most leading roles in the company and is responsible for the development of games. He is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Director, Game Designer, Writer, Project and More. As a professional musician, he founded the company Totem Interactive in 1993, the music and sound production works in the fields. He worked as a freelancer with many television, film and video game productions, and is involved in several soundtracks.

His earlier work (under the name De Gruttola ) includes the music in video games. He was involved in the soundtrack of video games like Cheese Cat - astrophe starring Speedy Gonzales (1995), Timecop (1995) and Hardline (1997).

David Cage founded Quantic Dream in 1997 and was responsible leader in the development of the four games has released the Studio: The Nomad Soul (1999), Fahrenheit (2005), Heavy Rain (2010) and Beyond: Two Souls ( 2013).
