David Cassel
David Cassel ( born March 7, 1818 in Glogau, † January 22, 1893 in Berlin) was a German educator and Hebrew scholar.
Life and work
Cassel researched and taught at the College of Jewish Studies in Berlin, he wrote several textbooks and dictionaries. Since 1857 he was a member of the Society of Friends. By 1886 Cassel was part of the teaching staff of the Berlin Beth Hamid Rasch in Heidereutergasse 4
His grave is located in the Jewish Cemetery in Berlin- Weissensee.
