David Currie, Baron Currie of Marylebone

David Anthony Currie, Baron Currie of Marylebone ( born December 9, 1946) is since 2002 Chairman of Ofcom.

Currie was from 1988 to 1995 director of the Centre of Economic Forecasting and 1988-2000 Professor of Economics at the London Business School. As of 2002, Currie was Dean of Cass Business School in London and came back in May 2007 by that Office.

In 1996 he received the peer dignity for life ( "Life Peerage "). and a member of the House of Lords. On 30 January 2012, he received an honorary doctorate from the City University London.
