David Firth

David Firth ( born January 23, 1983 in Doncaster, United Kingdom) is a British film artists and musicians.

Firth is best known for his post- apocalyptic series Salad Fingers ( Salad fingers), whose first episode was released in 2004. Since 2009, Firth produced several animated films for BBC Comedy as well as for the BBC Four series Charlie Brooker 's Screenwipe. BBC Comedy presented his film music predictions in 2009 as part of Best of Web Comedy 2009. 2012 Firth has appeared as spokesman for the computer game The Cat Lady in appearance.

The International Film & Television Festival Cologne Conference in 2007 was Salad fingers as part of the Internet Collection. Program that Hull Short Film Festival 2009 showed a retrospective of his films.

Firth spread his work as a cartoonist for the most part on the Internet - among other things on the website Newgrounds, on Youtube and on their own websites.
