Newgrounds is a website founded in 1995, the flash movies and flash games hosts. It was founded and is currently owned by Tom Fulp ( born April 30, 1978). The site was the first flash portal on the Internet, which allowed users to create their own Flash creations, such as movies, games and music to bring in and view the entries of other users and to evaluate. The site claims to have over 1.4 million registered members and more than 660,000 entries (status: April 7, 2013).

Newgrounds allows users to assess the contributions of other users. For the works of reviews may on a scale of 0 - are delivered to 10 ( ), in addition there is another scale of 0 to 5, which may be used by non-registered users ().
