David Gillick

David Gillick (* July 9, 1983 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish sprinter who specializes in the 400 - meter track and there also with a personal best of 44.77 s ( July 4, 2009 in Madrid) the Irish holds national record.

Career

The beginning of 2007 ran Gillick at a hall meeting in Dusseldorf on the 400-meter time of 45.91 s, with which he set the previous national record of Paul McKee. In March 2007 he was able to successfully defend the s European Indoor Championship title with another national record of 45.52.

On 4 July 2009 Gillick won the meeting in Madrid, which is part of the IAAF World Athletics Tour 2009, with a time of 44.77 s and thus presented new Irish national record on.
