David Gurfinkel
David Gurfinkel ( born December 12, 1938 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli cameraman.
Career
Shortly after his high school graduation David Gurfinkel went on for some months to the Israeli forces before he began an apprenticeship at the Geva Studios as a photo assistant. There he learned his craft in making commercials, newsreels and propaganda films. Already at the age of 26 he was hired by the Israeli director Uri Zohar as a cameraman for the Comedy hole in the moon. This results in a long-term friendship and cooperation, which includes, among other films, such as Moishe Ventalator, Shlosha Yamim Veyeled, Einayim G'dolot and the last joint collaboration from 1988 with the comedy Lool developed.
David Gurfinkel is the father of Johnathan Gurfinkel and Yoav Gurfinkel.
