Action

The U.S. Army officer Nick Preston snubbed the President. As punishment, he is transferred to a landfill for disused military material. No sooner has he entered the service as a violent earthquake separates California from the mainland. California and the continent are unattainable separated by a highly toxic sea.

After Preston and McBride have clarified the order of precedence, they start with Simco build up the base again.
