David Hanson (robotics designer)

David Hanson ( born December 20, 1969 in Dallas, Texas, USA) is an American robotics scientist and designer, mainly for humanoid robots. He is also the founder of the robotics manufacturer Hanson Robotics. In 2007 he received his PhD at the University of Texas.

In 2005, Hanson presented together with the KAIST Hubo group from South Korea in front of the Albert Einstein Albert Hubo humanoid robot modeled.
