David López Moreno

David López Moreno ( born September 10, 1982 in Logroño ) is a Spanish footballer who plays in the Spanish La Liga at Athletic Bilbao.

Career

David López is one of many players in the service of Athletic Bilbao, coming either from Pamplona or have played at CA Osasuna. After three successful years with Osasuna and, among others, the move into the UEFA Cup semi-final 2006/2007 ( they lost nearly eventual winners FC Sevilla) was the next step on his career ladder with the change to Athletic.

With a sixth place in the Primera División 2010/11, he qualified with Bilbao for the UEFA Europa League 2011 /12. There López reached with his club after victories among others Manchester United, FC Schalke 04 and Sporting Lisbon, the European Cup final, but lost in the final Atlético Madrid.
