David Lovering

David Lovering ( born December 6, 1961 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American drummer.

Life

He played from 1986 to 1993 at the Pixies. After separation of the group in 1993 as a drummer Lovering was with some other music groups active, for example, The Martinis, Cracker, Nitzer Ebb and Tanya Donelly. Moreover Lovering worked under the name The Scientific Phenomenalist as a magician. At the reunion of the Pixies in 2004, he returns to the drums.
