David Michelinie

David Michelinie ( born May 6, 1948) is an American comic book writer.

Life and work

Michelinie began in the mid -1970s to work as a professional comic book writer. Among his earliest works include stories for appearing in DC Comics series House of Secrets and Swamp Thing.

In 1977 he moved to Marvel Comics, where he initially - 1978 to 1981 - for the Iron Man series wrote that he (like the alcohol problems in the title role ) enriched by many permanent plot elements. His artistic partner in this project was the artist Bob McLeod. There followed a long-standing run as an author on various series such as Spiderman Web of Spider -Man and The Amazing Spider -Man ( 1987-1994 ). In parallel, Michelinie wrote two years (1979-1981) stories for the Avengers series and one year (1980 ) Stories for the series Daredevil.

In the 1990s, Michelinie wrote for DC Comics for three years (1994-1997 ) to the traditional series Action Comics, which is about the adventures of the superhero Superman.

Together, founded by Bob Layton and Dick Giordano Michelinie 2001 Future Publishing Comics, which had to be closed after only two and a half years of existence in 2004.
